Refreshing Recipes using Honey

‘Puttu-then’ or ‘stingless bee honey’, gives a whole array of holistic benefits only when it is used properly; else you get the delicious sweetness only.

  • Spiced Honey Syrup:
  • Honey & Spice syrup:

1 tbsp   – Stingless bee honey

2 Pinch  – Black Pepper

2 Pinch  – Dried Ginger Powder

2 Pinch  – Turmeric

Mix all the ingredients well to make a syrup and lick it slowly from a spoon to let the syrup go down and coat the back of your throat. This spiced honey syrup will heat your throat, chest, and nose, curing sore throats, running noses, minor allergies, and flu-like symptoms of infection. Prepare this syrup 2 or 3 times a day in batches and have it between meals. The spicier it is, the more heat it gives to wade off infections.
